SK8 HAVEN is building a better online experience for our community.
As our programs, events, partnerships, and community continue to grow, we wanted our website to better reflect who we are and make it easier for families, skaters, supporters, and partners to find the information they need.
To help make that happen, we partnered with 949 Tech Support to redesign and improve the SK8 HAVEN Shopify website.
A Better Way to Explore SK8 HAVEN
The goal of the redesign is simple: make the website easier to navigate, easier to understand, and more useful for the people we serve.
Visitors should be able to quickly learn about SK8 HAVEN, explore our programs, stay up to date on events, learn about our community impact, and find ways to get involved.
Improving Our Program Experience
One of the biggest areas of focus has been making our programs easier to explore.
Our program offerings include:

- Group Lessons
- Clinics
- Camps
The updated site structure is being designed to give each program a clearer presentation so parents, families, and skaters can better understand what is available and choose the option that fits them best.
Built for Mobile and Desktop
More and more people visit websites from their phones, so mobile usability has been an important part of the redesign.
The updated SK8 HAVEN website is being refined across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices with improvements to navigation, typography, spacing, imagery, calls to action, and overall usability.
Highlighting Our Community Impact
SK8 HAVEN is about more than skateboarding.
Our community partners help us create opportunities, support programs, provide resources, and make skateboarding more accessible to neurodiverse youth and families.
The redesigned website gives those partnerships and the people behind them a more visible place within the SK8 HAVEN story.
Custom Shopify Development
Some of the improvements to the website go beyond standard Shopify theme settings.
949 Tech Support has helped develop and refine custom Shopify components, responsive layouts, program page structures, navigation, mobile behavior, and other site features while working within our existing Shopify platform.
